Our Story

The story of the De Nicola brand traces its roots back to a distant past.



It begins with a man named Savino, who, in the post-war era, witnessed a nation’s yearning for rebirth. He understood that people longed to reclaim their zest for life.

Women desired to feel beautiful and elegant, and fur became an essential piece in their wardrobe.

Thus, an atelier was born on Via del Corso, in the heart of Rome’s historic center—a sophisticated salon where people could gather, enjoy a cup of tea, and marvel at fashion shows featuring stunning models draped in captivating fur outerwear.

As De Gregori sings, “We are history… no one can stop it.”

And so, we arrive at the present day: two sisters continuing the vision of a grandfather captivated by the essence of women.

Today, the brand specializes in outerwear in all its forms. The collection includes cashmere coats in a variety of colors and styles, shearling blousons, and technical fabric jackets adorned with fur trims. Additionally, a "luxury" line is dedicated to the most exquisite materials, such as mink, chinchilla, and sable, crafted exclusively from materials approved by the Washington Convention.
